Sande`s Sketch

Hey my sweet friends!

Today we have a sketch in store for you over at WhoopsiDaisy. It`s a design by our fabulously talented Sande.

Last night i must have been sleeping in a weird position course when i woke up this morning my neck was like a trainwreck. So i have been struggling with managing to do anything today. I have managed to finish my card for the challenge though. I thought it took forever. I was absolutely NOT satisfied with it. And i was wondering for a long time what i should do with it. I thought it looked incredibly boring. Then after a while i found these pins i won in a candy a while back. So i slapped them on the card with a big bow and a flower and suddenly the card looked totally different. (Thank god for that...i don`t think i would have managed to make a new one, lol) So now i just hope you like it.

The colours i have used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Hair:
Cocoa, Pasel yellow

Dress:
Sky blue, French navy, Arctic blue

Dots:
Blush, Almond, Dusky pink, Sunkissed pink, Satin

The papers are Basic Grey Cappella collection and Porcelain collection and the Shabby Vintage collection from Tim Holtz.

Bling it at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey peeps!

This time has our lovely and very talented Bettina set the challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. And as she loooves bling, that is what she wants to see on your creations. And what isn`t there to love? Everyone loves bling, don`t we? As you probabely read in my previous post my hubby had a bit of a mishap with my cards this weekend and my card for this challenge was the one worst affected. For sometime i was a bit worried i wouldn`t manage to make a card for WD as our printer was broken and had to be fixed. The printhead on some of these types of printers seemed to have a malfunction and i had just recently bought one of these. But luckely i got the message that i would get a new one instead of the producer fixing it. So i got my new printer on saturday. That made me able to print out a new image so i could make my card. And here it is.


I think these papers fit perfectly for this challenge. At the same time i got to use some colours i haven`t used much earlier. Maybe the mishap was ment to be, course this second time i coloured this image, i think it looked much better than the previous one, lol.

ProMarkers i have used:

Hair:
Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Dress:
Maroon, Magenta, Fuchsia pink

Dots:
Sandstone, Khaki, Pastel beige, Umber

Look at all the gorgeous sparkle! The paper had so much fun features, so i cut out a shoe and used it for embellishing. I also put some rhinestones in the middle of the flowers.
