My first KennyK challenge as DT

Hey peeps!

Finally has the day arrived. The new team are ready with a new challenge. As you might have noticed we are no longer the Krafty Girlz. Our name has changed to KennyK`s Krafty Krew. For the simple reason that we have a couple of guys with us. And i`m sure you will LUV their creations just as much as i do.

I am so honoured and humble to get to be working with this amazingly talented team and i hope i can live up to their reputation as awsome colourists. Well...enough rambling, lol. Before i get to my card we have some awesome prizes up for grabs.

Now, over to my very first card for this awesome team.

The challenge set this time is Raise your flag. We want to see the colours of your country`s flag on your creation. As i am from Norway my colours are red, white and blue. Therefor i thought this image was perfect for my creation. It is called Fourth of July and is available here.

The colours i have used are:

Skin:

Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan and Sunkissed pink for cheeks

Hair:

Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb

Outfit:

French navy, True blue, Sky blue, Burgundy, Berry red, Lipstick red

Of course i had to make pins in red white and blue too, lol. All papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. Buttons are from own stash. I have also used one of the new dies from Spellbinders called Floral Ovals, available here.

That`s all from me today. I really hope you like my card. I think it is difficult to create something with these colours but i actually think i made it work this time, lol. Or maybe it`s just me hahaha. Well...anyway, i think you have to visit the rest of the team too. I`m sure they are just as nervous as i am. So a little sugar will go a long way, lol. Things with wings at WhoopsiDaisy.

Good morning friends!

Believe it or not...the summer finally is here. The last couple of days have been fabulous weatherwise. It is tradition to celebrate midsummer with big fires in the shorelines where i come from. And the weather has been perfect. Just so sad i had to work and missed out on the fun. But at least my pouch will be a little bit thicker at the end of the month, hahaha. Well...enough rambling, lol. Let`s get to buisness.

At WhoopsiDaisy we are having a new challenge. The theme set is Things with wings. For my card today i have used an image from sheet #355.

The papers i have used are from Prima. All dies are from Marianne Design, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. This little sweetie has been coloured with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers.

Hey peeps!

For my creation over at Crafts and Me shop blog today i have used this beautiful image by Hannah Lynn called April. The image is available here. She is coloured with ProMarkers.

The stickpin is originally from Wild Orchid Crafts but i have added some more glass pearls and some spacers.

Usually i work best under pressure but this time i found that time was running away from me, lol. I wouldn`t claim that this one is amongst my best work, lol. But i`m pleased with the image. I`m still trying out some new colour combos for hair, and this is one of the new ones. I had a couple of mishaps but all in all i like the colour.

Today i can finally tell you all the great news. From today i`m officially a KENNY K GIRL!!!! YEAYYYYY!!!! Imagine that!  Never in a million years would dream of being good enough for this amazing team of talented artists. When i think about it my hair starts to curl down my back, lol. It`s a bit scary but oh so exciting too, lol.

We also have a couple of guys joining the team and accordingly the name had to be changed. I`m sure the guys wouldn`t appreciate beeing called girls, lol. So the new name on this fabby team is:

Vixie the vampire

Hey peeps!

Here i`m back with a new creation featuring the newly released image by Hannah Lynn over at Crafts and Me. She is called Vixie and she is available here.

I had so much fun colouring her up. I tried out a new colour combo for her hair and i think it worked perfectly, lol. I`m not so good at colouring black hair but when i blended some blue with some of the black it gave the illusion of her having black hair with blue shimmer. I also put in some funky pink/purple highlights, lol.

Look at this cute little spider. I`m not sure you see it properly. Since i coloured it black it blended a bit with the sourroundings so it didn`t show too well.
