Glitter Challenge at Crafts and Me

Hey Everyone!

I am so happy to see that the snow is melting more and more now. There is not a lot of snow left, yey! I am sooooo looking forward to the summer. Yesterday i was a bit under the weather so i really struggled with finishing my card for the glitter challenge at Crafts and Me. But finally i managed to finish it. I am not too happy with the card itself but i am happy about the result on colouring the image.

Our sponsor for the next challenge is the generous Ali from Crafty Ribbons. So make sure to hop on over to Crafts and Me Challenges to get the possibility to enter thes awesome ribbon prize. Such a perfect prize to create something for the Royal Wedding.

This time it is the wonderful Mina that has set the challenge. She has chosen glitter this time and i loooove everything glittery. For todays creation i have made an Easel card. I am sorry to say that the glitter doesn`show too well, but it is there. I will try to get some new piccies when i can use the daylight.

The image i have used on my card is called Forever Rose and you can find it here. It is another amazing digi stamp from the talented Hannah Lynn.

So make sure now to pop by the Crafts and Me challenges and enter your creation. And also take a peek at the wonderful creations from the other girls. The inspiration they give is fantastic.

Springtime Colours at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi peeps!

Another challenge overwith. And now we are ready for a new one. We want to see springtime colours this time at WhoopsiDaisy. My team-mates has really done a fabulous job on their inspirational creations. Please hop on over to WhoopsiDaisy and join us for this challenge.

For my creation i have used a cute little digi from sheet #131. You can find it here. Be sure to hop on over to the shop and make sure to get some delightful digis from the talented Linnie`s range. She also has a sweet freebie for you!

The silver plate is from Kort and Godt in Norway. They have a lot of awesome embellishments. And they are not too expensive either.

I have coloured Daisy with my fabulous ProMarkers. I looove them. They makes colouring so easy. I am also starting to get the hang of making a sky background. For this i cut out a template looking like a sky and then i used Broken China distress ink to very lightly tap around the upper edges of the template. Start at the bottom and work your way up to the top of the image. There is lighter distress inks to get a hold of but i only have this one in blue. So if you use broken china, make sure you don`t use too much colour or pressure course it will make your sky too dark.

I just had to put on one of my new Prima flowers. I think they are soooo beautiful. The soft colour and all the glittery stuff on top...love it. The small rosebuds are also from Kort and Godt.

Hope you enjoyed my creation. Thanks for looking!

Valentines night

Hey sweet crafters!

If you are here for the Crafts and Me bloghop, please click here. If not, keep on reading, lol.

I am so relieved that i have finished my first post in the Crafts and Me store blog. It was a bit scary but i have gottn soooo many positive responses that it has been overwhelming. Thank you soooo much to everyone that left me a bit of love for my card!

For my creation today i have used one of the new digis in the Crafts and Me store. It`s called Valentines night and is designed by the ever so talented Sara Burrier. If you follow the link you can find it right here.

For this card i have used Websters Pages DP. I think it is so beutiful that i didn`t want to cover it completely. Besides it fit perfectly as a background for the image of the two in love. I am not sure but i think the DP is from the lullaby lane collection. If i am wrong, please correct me, lol.

The butterfly i got from a kit-club i am a member of. I think it is totally beautiful and goes well with the background paper.

As you may know we are having a bloghop going on. Lots of yummy prizes, so make sure you jump on over to the Crafts and Me challenge blog where the hop starts and join in on the fun. The girls have made some very special and wonderful creations for you all to gaze upon. You have until Midnight (GMT) 15th April to join in. See you there.

1 Year Celebration Bloghop at Crafts and Me

Hey peeps!

Crafts and Me Challenges recently celebrated their 1st Anniversary and we have also taken on some new teamies which now includes a Digital Design Team plus new faces also on the Rockin Rubbah team so we thought we'd celebrate with a little blog hop!

We have goodies hidden on various teamies blogs so I hope you'll leave them all a nice comment along the way :)

If you've arrived from our lovely and talented Tracy, you're on the right track! If not, you need to start at the Crafts and Me Challenge blog, click HERE to go to the start!

We're running the hop from 1st April to Midnight (GMT) 15th April so a whole 2 weeks to play along. You need to collect the letters to form a phrase and leave comments on each individual stop to be eligible for the individual prizes plus the grand prize. Once you have collected all the letters leave a comment on the Crafts & Me shop Blog. Hop post.

My letter for you is P

For my creation today, i have made a surprise pop-up card with an additional pocket and a tag. The digi i have used is yet another one from Hannah Lynn. I really like these digis course they are so fantastic to colour. This one is called Ladybug Love, and you can find it here.

If you pull the flip out the image pops up and reveal a clear area which i have stamped with a sentiment. Since there is a lot happening on the card i have embellished it very lightly. But then again the paper is quite decorative in itself.

Look at that sweet digi! Isn`t she beautiful?

From above you can see the flap pulled out. Instead of an ordinary flap i have made this to be a pocket which contains a tag to write a little something to the receiver.

The text in norwegian says: only for you because you are nice.

Here is the compete set together. Hope you like my little creation..

I am the last person on the list. Thanks for coming to visit, don't forget to leave me a comment and hop on over to the shop blog and collect your last letter.

Hey everyone!

It`s monday and we are ready with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. Thanks to all of you who entered our last challenge. You made some awesome creations. The talent out there in blogland is really fantabulous!

For my creation this time i have chosen a sassy digi from Linnie`s collection. You can find it here. She is one of four sassy digis on sheet #202. I wasn`t quite satisfied with my colouring but i used glossy accent on the stockings and corset and it hided a bit of my mistake... ooops... maybe i shouldn`t have said anything, lol? Well, anyway...here is my creation.

Doesn`t she look sexy? I also put a bit of red stickles on the shoes. I think she looks sizzeling hot....

Well... that`s all for now folks! Be sure to hop on over to WhoopsiDaisy and leave my team mates some love.

Hugs...Mona

First challenge for the digi team at Crafts and Me.

Hey yah peeps!

Today is the very first time the Digi-Team is hosting the challenge at Crafts and Me. We are going to give you an easy start so for this time it is "Anything goes", and you don`t have to use a digi to enter. For this first challenge Teresa is donating a £10 gift voucher to use in her Crafts and Me store.

As some of you may know, Crafts and Me are now going weekly. We have two teams that is alternating on hosting the challenges every other week. So now you`ll have double chance to win some fabby prizes, yey! You can also find the list of my talented co-designers at Crafts and Me in my right sidebar. Please visit them and leave some love for them. I am sure they will appreciate it.

For my card i have used the Fairy flora collection from Prima. The big flower is also a Prima one. The digi is from Crafts and Me own range of digis. Created by the very talented Hannah Lynn. You can find the beautiful Shay right here.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers. I have also used a bit of stickles to touch up her hair and around the edges of the panels. I am so sorry to be one of those anoying peeps that never manages to list what colours i use. I will try to improve, lol. I just have a tiny amount of space to work on, so for me it is easier to put my markers back in their place to avoid all the clutter. And because of that i forget to write down the colours used. Senility please come to me and you will find a home...lol.

Be sure to hop on over to Crafts and Me challenges and join us!

Thanks for looking

Hugs...Mona

I feel like a blog-virgin

Hey there everyone!

I got some really exciting news, but first i want to tell you that i have decided to only do these posts in english. This is just to save some time blogging and not to mention the length of the posts.

Now over to my news, a bit late since i have been at work all day but here it is. A while ago i entered a DT call at Crafts and Me, and guess what!!! I made it!!! Yooohooo! I got an unexpected mail from Teresa, the blogowner, asking me to join her brand new Digi-team. What an honour! I am above and beyond thrilled to get picked by Teresa. I just couldn`t let this chance get away so of course i said yes. I am so lucky to get to play with some incredibly talented ladies. Thanks girls, for the warm welcome and a BIG thank you, Teresa for giving me this chance. I will do my very best...well i don`t think that will be very hard considering what awesome images i get to play with.

It is sooooo exciting!!! Today was finally my turn to show you the card i made for my first post in the Crafts And Me Store Blog. Be sure to jump on over to the Crafts And Me Store Blog and take a peek at the awesome creations the new digi-team have made this past week.

Are you still awake? lol. Hope you bare with me since this post is a bit longer than usual.

Since this only is my second DT position i believe i have naged hole in Teresa`s and Vix`s heads about every little thing, so i hope they`ll put up with me for at least a few days, lol. I really feel like a blog-virgin again, lol. Well now they will be sorry course i`m not that easy to get rid of, lol. Now that i am going to do my blogging only in english i hope you bare with me if i write something that sounds waaaayyyy off. I am from Norway and i am not so familiar with all the slang and phrases in the english language so if anything looks weird it is just the crazy norwegian that tries to sound cool, lol. Well enough rambling....

For my first DT post at Crafts And Me i have chosen to use a digi-stamp from the talented Hannah Lynn called Hidden Treasures, a digi stamp of Crafts and Me`s own range, which is available here. She is a true beauty, don`t you think? I was inspired by the lavender colour at one of the pictures from this weeks challenge at Crafts and Me challenges. The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the background is painted with distress ink. And since i love everything glittery i just had to make her necklace a golden chain.

As some of you may have noiced we are celebrating that Crafts and Me challenges has been up and running for a year. In that occacion Teresa is giving away 8 digi-stamps of your choice, from our own digi-collection. The drawing will take place with random org after the end of this weeks challenge. So be sure to visit the Crafts and Me challenges and join in on the fun. I have just one more thing to inform you about. Crafts and Me is going to do the challenges weekly from now on. The Rubbah team and the Digi team are going to take turn leading the challenge every other week. So be sure to join in on the fun. Lots of great prizes to be won.

I am entering these challenges:

Sugar Creek Hollow - Anything goes challenge
Digi Doodle - Challenge #52 Anything goes

Thats all from me folks. Hope i didn`t bore you to death, lol.

Pile on the flowers...

Hei Bloggere!

Photobucket

Hi Bloggers!

Another weekend is over and that means we have another challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. This week you have to pile on the flowers. Head on over to the WD to check out the wonderful creations to my fellow DTs.

It is starting to show that the spring and summer is closing in out there in blogland. It pops up more and more summerly creations out there. Lots of colours, butterflies, fairies, flowers....anything that has to do with the summer season. I believe more and more of you are waking up from the hibernation and are exploding with creativity....not that you didn`t before, lol. Come on and join us at WD. It is anyway time to use up some old scraps and make place for something new.

This is my DT sample:

Photobucket

Stemplet kan du finne her.

Photobucket

This time i have used one of Linnie`s newest digis. I fell in love with it at once, and i knew exactly how the final result would be. I think this must be the fastest card i have ever made. It practically made itself. The stamp you can find here. This is one of 4 cute digis an this sheet. In the WD-shop you can buy 2 sheets at the price of £1,99. It`s a bargain. Linnie also has a freebie waiting for you, so make sure to stop by and pick it up.

Digi utfordring hos MÃ¥nadens Utmaning

Hei Bloggere!

Hi Bloggers!

It has been a while since i entered a card for MÃ¥nadens Utmaning, so i feel a bit guilty since this is my absolute favourite challenge blog.

They are providing an absolutely adorable digi image so i couldn`t let the chance to colour her up, fly away. To me the image looks a bit vintagy so i have made a card in vintage style. I have also tried a new technique of colouring the background. I wasn`t quite satisfied. The lady that made a tutorial on this was A LOT BETTER than this. Anyway, it is up to you to judge how it turned out
.

Bildet er fargelagt med ProMarkers. Fargene jeg har brukt er:

The image is coloured with ProMarkers. The colours i have used is:

Hud/skin: Vanilla, Blush, Oatmeal. HÃ¥r/hair: Apricot, Honeycomb, Spice, Terracotta.
Kjole/dress: Satin, Sunkissed Pink, Dusky Rose.

The flower-ornament and the butterfly i baught at Korthobby. The crown i don`t remember where i got.

The flowers is from Kort and Godt. (Except the big one which i got in a candy)

The papers are from Graphic 45 (once upon a springtime), The girls Paperie (paper girls) og My minds Eye (lost and found) and the lace is from own stash.

Gavepose...dekorert papirpose

Hei Bloggere!

Hi Bloggers!

Who isn`t crazy about these stamps from Sugar Nellie? Not me....eh....lol...I just have to admit that i am totally in love with these stamps. They are just soooo beautiful. These stamps you can buy at Funky Kits.

At Vintage Udfordring the challenge this time is to make something vintage with a digi-stamp. So i have made a giftbag embellished with the baby stamp from this line of Sugar Nellie. That little curled up baby is just sooooo adorable. Perfect for vintage use. Of course i am entering some more challenges with this creation and these are listed at the bottom of this post.

I have also baught the Once upon a springtime collection from Graphic45. I have used one of the papers as a background. I think this collection is so beautiful and i have big plans for it. So stay with me, i will publish more as i get it finished.

Ribbons and Charms at WhoopsiDaisy

Hei Bloggere!

Hi Bloggers!

Monday is here and at WhoopsiDaisy we have a new challenge for you. The challenge is set by our wonderfully talented Rleen. She makes such beautiful and colourful creations. Make sure to go see her blog. I am sure she will appreciate some sugar and love from you all. Also make sure to hop on over to the WD-shop to pick up one of Linnie`s amazing freebie digi-stamps.

I have tried a new folding-technique. It is a side-step card. It measures 8" wide. It maybe look hard to make but it really wasn`t that hard.

Of course i have to enter some challenges with this card, and i am listing them at the bottom of this post.

White on white at Kort og Godt!

Hei Bloggere!

Hi Bloggers!

No!! it is not another winter coming up:-) At the march challenge at Kort and Godt it is all about making an all white creation. You are only allowed to use colours on the image. I have used one of my new Magnolia stamps for this one: Birthday Tilda.

Finally i have found a color-combo that doesn`t make the skin look pale. I have used the ProMarkers, Vanilla, blush and primrose for the skin and this time a managed to make Tilda look a little bit more fresh. At least i was quite satisfied.

The products from Kort and Godt that i have used is the rosebuds, the smallest rose and the two metal-flowers besides Tilda.

Magnolia-Licious is one of the other challenges i am entering. The challenge here is a framed project with this recipe: Use one of these....Bling/pearls, trim/ribbon, one Magnolia stamp and flowers. I don`t own any frames so i used a cake doily to frame my image with. Hope it qualifies anyway.

I am also entering these challenges:

Wild Orchid - Challenge #18 Anything goes
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Buttons and bling challenge
Magnolia Down Under - Challenge #85 Flower Power
Dream Valley - Challenge #1 Anything goes
Lexi`s creations - Challenge #34 Flowers
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes challenge
