Felicity, by Hannah Lynn

Hey Peeps!

I`m sitting here watching The Big Bang Theory on dvd, while i`m writing. And it really cracks me up. It is totally hysterical, lol. Sheldon is a real character, lol. Oh...i`m dying here, hahahaha.

Well, over to real things, lol. We are ready for a new challenge over at Crafts and Me, and it is the digi-team`s time to host. It is our lovely boss Teresa that has set the challenge and she wants to see RIBBONS on your creations. I was so occupied with making the panels fit together that i forgot to place my ribbon under them before i glued them on, lol. That`s just the darndest thing, lol. Well...at least i had to wrap a bow and put it on my card to have something with ribbon. The Fabby prize is 6 digis from the Crafts and Me own range of digis. Winners choice! Isn`t that great?

For my card today i have created a joy-fold card. First time i`m trying this one, lol. I also tried the dotting technique on the sweet mermaid`s tale too. I haven`t decided what i think about it, but it`l have to do. The image is the new and sweet digi "Felicity" by Hannah Lynn. Isn`t she gorgeous. She is to be found right here. Looove that large and flowing hair. It is so fun with these fantasy images course you don`t have to follow the norm of true colouring. You can use any colour you like, lol. I think it is so cool to use the blue colours on her hair.

The ProMarkers i have used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Hair:
Cool Aqua, Duck egg, Petrol blue

Tale:
Lavender, Blossom, Lilac, Amethyst, Purple, Orchid, Gold Metal

Other colours used:
Sandstone, Umber, Soft green, Marine, Cocoa, Cool grey #4, Sky blue, Berry red, Aegan, Cyan, Yellow, Canary, Pumpkin, Sunkissed pink, Coral.

Inside i used my new Die-Namics doily die cut for doodling space. Also available in the Crafts and Me store, right here. I just love it.

On the image below you can see another of my new die cuts. It is a Marianne die and you can find this one too in the Crafts and Me store, right here.

So nice of you to stop by. I really appreciate it.

We stand together!

It is with a heavy heart i do this post. Due to the happenings in Oslo a few days ago, i wish to convey my condolances to all that suffered such great loss from the violent acts in Oslo and at Utøya on friday. It is so difficult to understand what kind of evil it takes to be able to do such violence. My heart goes out to all of those that in some way has been involved either themselves or that knows someone involved. It is so hard to express how i feel but i`m sure that all of us feel the same way.

A campaign is started here to show our support and respect to the victims and their next of kin. Every blogger that wants to show their support can dedicate a post to this campaign and publish the image below. Do you want to make a difference?

I am usually not a big fan of our Prime minister but i am truly impressed and proud of how he has handeled this case. The speech he held in church yesterday was so emotional and full of love for his people, and it was really hard to watch without crying.

- So to all of you somehow involved...you are in my heart and thoughts. Stay strong and together!

Phindy`s Place challenge and a DT-Call

Hey everyone!

It`s that time again. We are so sorry to see some of our team-mates leave for various reasons. We will really miss you guys. It has been a real pleasure to work with you all. With that said, we are having a DT-Call over at Phindy`s Place. If this is something that you would like to try out, please feel free to hop on over to see how you can enter the call. Phindy is such a fabulous boss to work for. She is really generous with the images. And they are absolutely and totally gorgeous. You don`t need to have any past DT experience either, so all can enter. Isn`t that nice? Well...so come on and join.

So over to the challenge. And what is the challenge? you ask, lol. Well we want to see two of somethings. And this means you can only use two things of one kind. You can`t put on for example 3 flowers and think that you have put on two. It has to be exactly two. But you can use different types of embellies. Such as 2 DPs, 2 pearls, 2 types of lace and so on.

For my card i have used 2 DPs, 2 doilies, 2 of each type of flowers, 2 swirls, 2 pearls, (they doesn`t show too well, got covered by the watermark, lol) 2 types of lace and i have even used 2 colours on her dress too, lol. That was actually a lucky strike, lol. I noticed it just about now, hahaha.

The image is called Bye Bye Butterfly and you can find it right here, in Phindy`s Place online store. Isn`t she adorable?

The ProMarkers i used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Dress:
Maroon, Antique pink, Gold, Sunflower

Thanks for visiting me! I really appreciate all the sweet comments you leave for me.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Sparkle and shine at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey Peeps!

I really got stuck when i was going to make a card for todays challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. I really don`t know what i was thinking when i chose images for the challenge, lol. I was caught up in the love for the new sheet Linnie posted in her shop and i forgot what the challenge was all about, lol. I just had to have this sheet!!!! So now i had to make a sparkle and shine card, lol. Not easy to do with images that are supposed to be used as accents, hahaha. So i just had to look through my collection of Linnie Images and i found this sweet little fairy girl on sheet #180. And i thought she might be perfect to add to my creation

I actually started with an ordinary 6x6" card but it didn`t work at all, so i had to try a stepcard instead. I moved the embellies back and forth several times and decided it looked really weired. I had to draw up the grass in front by hand and coloured it and then cut it out. I also had some other images i cut up and used some bits and parts here and there to make a scene. I still think it looks a bit weired but i don`t have any more time to do it all over again so this just have to do. Luckely you don`t see all the mistakes that i see, hahahaha.

This little fairy girl is just the most adorable ever. And i coloured her up with these colours:
Hair:
Primrose, Buttercup, Pastel yellow

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Dress:
Lipstick red, Gold, Sunflower, Yellow. Satin, Putty, Tan, Cinnamon.

Wings:
Forrest green, Bright green, Lime green, Lime Zest

Shoes:
Walnut, Terracotta, Pumpkin

For all the grass and trees i mixed with these colours:
Pine, forrest green, Bright green, Lime green, Lime zest.

For the beautiful fence i used:
Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb.

The butterfly i created myself. I just love these butterflies. They are so easy to make. A couple of minutes and then they are finished.

Behind the flowers you can see one of my new dies. It is a Marianne die. And i think it looks really beautiful. I am just loving my new Big Shot, lol. My hubby is going to have a fit when he hears how much i have to spend on dies, lol.

Here is a closeup of my homemade grass, lol. I also put in some tiny flowers. I think i like it, lol. Hope you like my creation. Thanks for looking.

These are the challenges i`m entering:

I actually coloured up 3 different images before i was satisfied. Not that i didn`t like how the colouring turned out, but i didn`t think they was exactly what i was looking for. I`m so happy!!! I have finally received my new Big shot, yeay!!! I was a bit scared to use it course i thought i was breaking the plates, lol. But it was just the paper that made the cracking noice, lol. I am so excited about it. Just look at the lovely dies. Finally i can have some swirls on my creations too, lol.

I used a lot of colours on this image so the list is going to be long.

Pastels over at Phindy`s Place

Hey Peeps!

The weeks are going by so fast and the weather hasn`t been much to brag about. Well...it`s not all bad. Bad weather is good crafting weather, isn`t it, lol?

Today we are having a new challenge over at Phindy`s Place. We want to see pastels. This is just right up my alley. I`m in a shabby chic period and pastels are perfect to do shabby style with.

I have used a digi called "Something Sweet". And i think she really is sweet.

The ProMarkers i have used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla
Saffron
Oatmeal
Tan

Clothes:
Slate
Lilac
Lavender

Hat:
Orchid
Blossom

Other colours:
Lime Zest
Bright Green
Yellow
Baby Pink
Antique Pink
Walnut

The papers are from Websters pages except for the circled one. And the big flower is from Prima. I also used gesso to paint the edges of the back panel. I also have got a hold of some liquid pearls that is so easy to apply. You just apply the liquid pearls and just tap your finger on the backside of the card. Just make sure to hold the card horisontally when you tap so the pearls keeps in place.

If you want some more inspiraton, hop on over to the Phindy`s Place challenge blog to see the fabby creations from the rest of the DT. And don`t forget to join the challenge either.

Challenges i`m, entering:
