Things with wings at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi peeps!

Today we are live with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme set this time is:

THINGS WITH WINGS

This is my very first Chrismas card this year. I haven`t had any Christmas spirit so the desire to create Christmas creations has been rather low. The image i have used is from sheet #385 and is available here in the WhoopsiDaisy shop.

The colours i have used are these:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair: Umber, Rosewood (FM), Terracotta, Honeycomb

Outfit: Shale, Burgundy, Poppy, Lipstick red, Olive green, Pear green, 

Other colours: Pine, Grass, Forrest green, Satin

Other products used:

Dies from Marianne Design and Memory box

Lace from Wild Orchid Crafts

Stickles and distress ink.

Monochromatic at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi everyone!

Today i want to show you a creation i made using one of the newest Halloween digis by Linnie at WhoopsiDaisy. You can find it on sheet #494. It took forever to colour. I believe i spent a little over 5 hours to colour it, lol. The only thing i`m not satisfied with is that my camera made the white stripes to appear stronger than in real life. And i think they are a bit overwhelming. Oh well...when i can`t make use of a decent daylight it sometimes end up like this i`m sorry to say.

The papers i have used are digipapers from Bearly Mine Designs. The spiderweb is fuzzycut from one of the digipapers.

Colours used:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair: Black

Dress/hat: Black, Shale, Burgundy, Berry red, White Sakura gelly roll pen.

Other colours: Cool grey #5 and 4, Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Sandstone, Pineapple crush, Buttercup

I didn`t have any black flowers so i used my ProMarker to colour most of it. I also had to use my Black soot distress reinker course i didn`t manage to colour all in the center of it. I just put some drops of ink in the middle and elsewhere where i couldn`t use my marker.

I also had this metal rose with the gorgeous red eye in the middle i just had to put it on the card.

ProMarker Norge fyller 2 år!

Heisann!

Beklager så mye at denne posten kom i bakleksa. Har hatt hodet fullt av andre ting i det siste og dette gikk rett og slett i glemmeboka. Uansett, det er kommet en ny utfording ut hos ProMarker Norge og dere må gjerne hoppe over dit for å finne ut hva det kan være.

Samtidig feirer vi 2års dagen vår!!!! Yeeeay!!!! Hipp Hurra for ProMarker Norge! Jeghar ikke vært med på teamet like lenge men det har vært en fabelaktig reise så langt. Et flott team med utrolig talentfulle damer og jeg er så stolt over å få lov til å være med på moroa.

Til denne utfordringen har jeg laget et sett med gavepose og en tag. Begge har jeg brukt motiv fra Mo Manning på. Motivet heter Winter Fairy Halla og det er mulig å få kjøpt her.

Hehe, jeg ble litt overivrig med bildetakingen men det får bare være.

Farger som er brukt:

Hud: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hår: Ice grey #2 og 4, Icicle, Hvit Sakura gelly roll pen

Klær: Slate, Winterberry, Iced pearl, Ice grey #2 og 4, Icicle

Vinger: Iced pearl, Pink mittens, Icicle, diamond stickles

Posen er ikke så veldig stor men kan fylles med hva enn man måtte ønske. Ser for meg litt twist eller litt annet småsnop.

Her er den medfølgende tag`en hvor man kan skrive en liten hilsen på baksiden. I min iver glemte jeg selvfølgelig å ta bilde av baksiden, hehe.

Jeg hadde ingen hvite stjerner tilgjengelig så jeg tok noen sølvstjerner og malte dem med hvit gesso og så hadde jeg på diamond dust og diamond stickles. Ble litt vanskelig å få et ordentlig bilde av det. Det ble for mye refleksjon fra blitzen.

Dies er fra Marianne Design og Memory Box. Post card stemplet er fra Marianne Design`s Vintage collection.

Challenge #5 at My Besties Norway

Hey everyone!

It`s been a while since i`ve posted anything in here and i`m really sorry about that. My life has been cramped up with a lot lately and the crafting has taken a tour into oblivion for a while. I hope you can forgive me :-)

Well anyway...here i am back with my contribution for My Besties DT. I think this image is just so adorable and it is one of the new Halloween digis by Sherry Baldy. The image i have used is called IMG 043 With Kitty

I allmost mucked up my image when i was doing my card yesterday. I was going to use some black cheesecloth behind the image just to make my card a little bit spookier. The only thing is that i didn`t have any of it in black so i had to colour it myself. I found my little bottle of Black Soot distress ink and started colouring the darn thing, lol. When dried i was going to put it on my card. But as i was handling it i noticed that it still left some ink here and there. You can imagine my panic when i noticed i had some inked fingermarks on my image... Eeeek...panic!!! I was allready late with my card and i didn`t have the time to colour up my image again. Thank God that the marks only were on the sides of the image and that i could cover them with some flowers. Otherwise my hubby would have had a really bad saturday evening with a grumpy whife in the same room, hahahaha.

Oh well let get down to buisness shall we? The theme for this fortnight is.... Yeah you guessed right:

The papers are digital. The purple one is a past freebie from Bearly Mine Designs and the green one in the back is from Crafts and Me.

Vintage/Shabby chic over at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey peeps!

Today the new challenge has gone live over at WhoopsiDaisy  . The theme for this time is 

Vintage / Shabby chic

I went for shabby chic for my creation this time. The image is from Sheet #451.

This theme is one of my favs. I just love anything vintage and shabby looking stuff.

Papers i have used are from Maja Design, (Vintage spring basics). Dies are from Spellbinders, Magnolia and Marianne Design. I have painted the edges with white gesso blended with a little sand to get some extra texture. I have also used Frantage Embossing enamel (Shabby pink) on the edges of the image.

Colours i have used:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair: Cocoa, Mustard, Buttercup, Saffron

Dress: Trick or Treat, Dusky rose, Pink mittens

This cluster of flowers are from several companies. Mulberry Crafts, Wild Orchid Crafts and Bi-kuben. The lace is also from WOC.

I also made a mini pebble. Ok i didn`t actually make the glass pebble, lol. But i cut out a little rose and glued it on to the back of the glass pebble to make my own finished one. I think it came out quite nice and perfect for this card.

Challenge #3 at My Besties Norway

Hi everyone!

It`s so much fun to see how many of you out there entering our challenges at My Besties Norway. It has been beyond our wildest dreams, lol. We really appreciate your support and all the wonderful creations we get to see every time. You are the best.

Well...now we are ready with challenge #3. It`s a nice and easy one, lol. Theme set for this time is:

Use some kind of dies

The image i have used for today`s challenge you can find here.

I have kept the colours in a fall theme as i am in that kind of mood at the time. I just love the fall. Such beautiful colours all around us, don`t you think?

The dies i have used are Fleur de Lis squares by Spellbinders and Border Craftable CR1250 by Marianne Design. I`m sorry but i couldn`t find any link to where it`s available. I got it in a DT pack a little while ago.

I have tried blending some new colours and the result you can see on her clothes and bow. Colours i normally wouldn`t think could go well together but i`m really surprised and happy they did.

Colours used are:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair: Rosewood (FM), Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb

Eyes: Emerald, Green, Mint green

Lips: Budding rose, Pink mittens

Top/Tights/Bow: Rosewood (FM), Burnt orange, Peach

Shorts: Firewood, Grey squirrel, Pastel beige

Cat: Ice grey #1,2 and 5, Budding rose, Pink mittens

For white highlights i used Sakura gelly roll pen

Here i just rolled up some string, made a bow and put on a brown rose. Just real simple.

I used some different kind of papers for this one. They are from Websters Pages, Marianne Design and G45.

Anything fall related at WhoopsiDaisy

Good day peeps!

How are you doing? I`m having a fabulous time at the mo. My creativity has come back and i think that`s just awesome. I felt like i didn`t have any energy left in me to be creative for a period now and had to force my creations to come to life. It is so good that it has loosened up. I was sick and tired of feeling guilty for not beeing able to commit to my DT`s as much as i would have wanted to, but that is going to change now, yey!!!

Well let`s get to the reason you are really here for. My card for this new challenge over at WhoopsiDasiy. The theme set is: 

Anything fall related 

For my card i have used an image from Sheet 475.

Papers are from Websters Pages. I have coloured the image with ProMarkers.

Colours are:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair: Rosewood (FM), Burnt orange, Poppy, Bright orange

Trousers: Amber, Gold, Sunflower, Burgundy, Poppy

Dress: Sleigh bell, Pineapple crush, Buttercup, Eggnog

Hat: Cocoa, Tawny owl, Tan, Putty

Teddybear: Tawny owl, Putty, Morning mist, Almond

Other colours: Pressed leaf, Pink mittens, Budding rose

Flower made by cutting up a large autumn leaf, adding a coffee dipped flower and a wild rose spritzed with some gold mist.

My Besties - Finally in Norway

Hi everyone! 

The day has finally come! My Besties Nowegian Challenge Blog is having the Grand Opening today. We are two designteams which will be alternating on giving you inspiration every other fortnight. I really hope you all will join in our challenges as often as possible. You have the advantage that all our upcoming challenges are listed under the rules tab. That way you have a loooong time to get your creations ready in good time before the challenges goes live.

I`m so lucky to be working with a lot of talented girls and i hope you will visit them too and give them your love and good luck wishes.

Nice and easy start huh? I think this has to be allmost everyone`s favourite theme, lol

For my first DT card for My Besties i have used Img 725. Isn`t she adorable? When i first saw these cute images i was a bit worried course i thought they had so much small details, but i was totally wrong. When i sat down and started colouring this cutie i was really surprised about how easy it went so my advise to all of you that think the same as i did. Please just have a go, you may get a big surprise, lol. At least i did.

Eyes: Midnight blue, Denim blue, Pastel blue

The sentiment is from Marianne Design which is one of the new collectables series. These contain three stamps and a coordinating die to cut out the sentiment. I just loove these.

The flowers are from several companies don`t remember exactly as i have had tem in my stash for a while, lol. At least WOC is represented here, lol.

Just look at this cute dollface. Such a total heartbreaker, lol.

Wow...it`s not often i get to post two cards in one day, lol. I feel really pleased with myself right now, hahaha. I hope you have enjoyed visiting me and i looove comments, lol. I`m just saying :-)

ProMarker Norge Utfordring #22

Da er sommeren definitivt over. Vi skriver september og nå bør vi være godt restituert og klar for å lage ny inspirasjon. Jeg føler i alle fall at kreativiteten min har fått seg et ekstra løft. Jeg har vært inne i en tung periode hvor hodet ikke har vært skrudd rett på, men nå har det heldigvis løsnet litt for meg. 

Som vanlig må dere hoppe innom ProMarker Norge for å finne ut hva utfordringen denne gang er. Jeg håper du tar deg tid til å være med på moroa.

More than one image at WhoopsiDaisy

Here we are again with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme set this time is

USE MORE THAN ONE IMAGE

For my card today i have used these two cuties, both from sheet #389.

I merged both images together using word, and they look like cute twins together.

They are as usual coloured with my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. I had a bit of an experiment with the colours of their hair and i would really much like to know what you think. I really appreciate some constructive critisism.
