Store nyheter!

Heisann folkens!

Bloghop at WhoopsiDaisy

  Good morning crafters!
Welcome to the Whoopsi Daisy challenge. This week it`s with a difference.
We're having a Blog Hop.

As always though there's a challenge running alongside it.

So how do you do the hop?

It`s easy, start at Audrey`s blog and follow the list of Divas taking part.

Visit each blog in order and leave them a comment.  That gives you the chance of winning the sheet each Diva has used to make her card.  Then get back to the challenge blog and leave a comment and your entry for the challenge part of the hop.  See, easy huh?

The Divas who are helping you hop along are;

The theme of the Hop and challenge are 'add a sentiment' something which always finishes off a card nicely.

So don't delay Hop today!

Good Luck everyone!

A new week is in front of us and that means a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme set this time is "Make it girlie"!

For my card today i have used an image from sheet #420, available here in the WhoopsiDaisy shop. This little ballerina is just so adorable. My card is quite CAS this time. I havent used a lot of embellies course i just wanted the pic and the paper to stand out. The paper is so beautiful in itself. It is a digipaper from Astrid`s Artisitc Efforts. I absolutely love her work.

The colours used are:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair:
Burnt umber, Shale, Burgundy, Terracotta

Dress:
Twilight sky, Polar blue, April shower

Other colours:
Olive green, Pear green, Winter berry, Lilac, Pink carnation

Well that`s it for today. Please feel free to come and join us over at WhoopsiDaisy and don't forget, if you use a WHOOPSI DAISY image, you have the option of making anything you`d like. Otherwise, you have to follow the challenge theme.

Happy crafting everyone!

Favourite colours at Marianne`s Design Divas

Hi Peeps!

I`ve been a bit absent from the Divas for a couple of months and it`s good to be back. We have had a little change in our team as well. Our sweet Susie has left us. She will be greatly missed. We have also a new team member... Donna!!! From Bearly Mine Designs. She has created a real stunner as her first project. So hop on over to Marianne`s Design Divas and check our her and all the other creations.

This months sponsors are:

Bunny Zoe`s Crafts

With this brilliant prize for the winner.

And as usual our lovely Marianne is sponsoring a surprise prize for a second winner.

For my creation today i`ve decorated another one of the drawers in my little shelf. The first drawer you can find here. My fav colours at the moment is White, Blue and beige. Important ingredients for a vintage style, lol....at least in my book, hahaha.

I started with sanding the drawer to make the paint stick better. I coated it with 3 different crackle paints to give it a shabby look. Next i inked the edges.

I had this beautiful butterfly in my stash and i put on this gorgeous Prima vintage button. I also put on this knob in the same colour as the butterfly. I bought these knobs at Klas Ohlson which is a guy`s shop with all sorts of bits and bobs. Looove to hang out there, lol. When i grew up my mom often told me that i should have been a boy course i allways had some weird stuff like screws and gaskets in my pockets, and i allways thought it was more fun playing football (european style) with the boys rather than playing with dolls with the girls, hahaha.

The big blue flowers is from Petaloo and these other silk flowers is Marianne Design as well as all the dies and the gorgeous lace i have used. I will list up and give you links at the bottom of this post.
I also used a rub on at the bottom of the drawer. It doesn`t show too well as i covered it a bit too much with all the embellies, lol.

I just love these little angels. I got a whole bunch of them cheap from Nille a while back. They are perfectly sized for cardmaking and small surfaces.

List of Marianne D supplies:

Hope you are having a wonderful day so far. Now it`s up to you to make something in your favourite colours. Hop on over to Marianne`s Design Divas and join in on the fun.

Happy crafting everyone!

Ribbon and/or lace at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey Peeps!

There has been some changes to our team over at WhoopsiDaisy lately and Audrey is taking over as DT co-ordinator as Pauline has stepped down. I will miss you Pauline. Audrey has been a part of the team for a long time. She is of the ones that has stayed the longest at WhoopsiDaisy and she is a very crafty gal. Love her stuff. We also have some new team members. Please visit their blogs and make them feel welcome to our little challengeblog. You are in for some real treats as the newbies are really talented.

Over to my card this week. I have used an image from sheet #420. Isn`t it totally adorable? I absolutely love it. I have made the card in a shabby chic style. I have painted all edges with gesso using just my finger, lol. It`s so much fun to make a total mess, lol. Not so much fun to clean up though, hahaha.

Colours i have used:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair on girl to the left:
Caramel, Tan, Satin

Dress:
Gold, Sunflower, Buttercup, White gel-roller

Hair on girl to the right:
Mustard, Sandstone, Pastel yellow

Dress:
Coral, Soft peach, Sunkissed pink

Flowers are from Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort og godt. Dies are from Memory box and Spellbinders.

This little ladybug is a little glassbutton i ordered from Canada. I think it it so adorable. The papers are all from Graphic 45.

This gorgeous resin corner is from Prima.

Well...i think that sums it up. Feel free to come and join us at WhoopsiDaisy. We would love to see what you come up with.

Happy crafting everyone!
