Sande`s Sketch

Hey my sweet friends!

Today we have a sketch in store for you over at WhoopsiDaisy. It`s a design by our fabulously talented Sande.

Last night i must have been sleeping in a weird position course when i woke up this morning my neck was like a trainwreck. So i have been struggling with managing to do anything today. I have managed to finish my card for the challenge though. I thought it took forever. I was absolutely NOT satisfied with it. And i was wondering for a long time what i should do with it. I thought it looked incredibly boring. Then after a while i found these pins i won in a candy a while back. So i slapped them on the card with a big bow and a flower and suddenly the card looked totally different. (Thank god for that...i don`t think i would have managed to make a new one, lol) So now i just hope you like it.

The colours i have used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Hair:
Cocoa, Pasel yellow

Dress:
Sky blue, French navy, Arctic blue

Dots:
Blush, Almond, Dusky pink, Sunkissed pink, Satin

The image is from the brand new line of digis by Linnie. You can find it on sheet #315 in The WhoopsiDaisy Digi shop.

New challenge at Phindy`s Place.

Good morning everyone!

Usually i hate Paper Piecing, but this time i think i made it work. Thanks to a lot of great advice from my teamies last time we did this challenge, i managed to do it right, lol. I guess by now you have figured out that we are having a Paper Piecing challenge over at Phindy`s Place. Please don`t run away if you are like me, not liking this theme. It is actually really easy.

First time i did this, i totally messed up. And my card turned out...how should i put it...ok awful, lol. What you need to do is to put your patterned paper in your printer and print out the image you are going to paper piece. If you are doing several patterns you have to print the image on to the other paper too. Just make sure you don`t change the size of your image. Then you cut out the pieces you are going to use. Like i have done the dress for this image. Obviously it`s not cool to paper piece skin and hair, lol, so i have coloured it with my ProMarkers.

The image i have used is called Flower Frock and is available right here in Phindy`s Place online store. I have also used one of my new dies from Marianne Design. The english rose. I just love how this turned out.

Challenges i`m entering:

Charisma Cardz - Challenge #43 Anything goes
Scrapbook Sisters - Challenge #58 Anything goes
Passion for ProMarkers - Challenge #123 For a child
Crafty Ribbons - Challenge #5 Bingo (I actually have allmost everything on the bingoplate lol. I only miss the lace. It is not so easy to see but the lacy die around the image is dry embossed)
Dutch Dare - Challenge #136 Pearls and swirls
Simon says....Anything goes

Doesn`t this sound easy? It`s a perfect excuse to try out paper piecing. So come on an join in on the fun over at Phindy`s Place. If i can do this...you can too! I really look forward to see your creations. Don`t forget to leave some sugar for my teamies. Have a great weekend!

Sparkle at Crafty Purple Frog

Hey Peeps!

This has been a totally crappy week. I`ve been sick and the crafting has really not been up to it`s max. Tuesday when i was at work, my voice was totally gone. When i tried to say something there were just some hhhzzzz`ing noises coming out of my mouth. The customers of course thought it was very funny but i, with my blabbering mouth, didn`t think it was quite as fun. Imagine....Me...tha talking head....not being able to talk....Disaster!!!!,lol. THANK GOD! My voice is allmost back, lol. Only downside to that, is that i instead has gottn a really runny nose, lol. Well...enough blabbering, lets get down to buisness, shall we?

Over at Crafty Purple Frog we are having a new challenge and the theme set is SPARKLE! Don`t we all love sparkle, lol?

For my inspiration sample i have made another mini-card. It measures 4x4". The image i have used is called White Peacock Dryad and it is a pyramage sheet soon to be released in the Crafty Purple Frog online store. It is designed by the amazingly talented ChingChou-Kuik. These sheets come pre-coloured. You just have to cut and glue them. They are awesome for you that want`s to make a card in a hurry.

I have layered the image with 3D cushins to make it pop a bit. I also put on a big chunk of bling, lol. This is some of the left overs from my wedding. I just love the colour. I also added a rose trim from Marianne Design. I think these are so cute. To add a bit of more sparkle to my card i added some stickles icicles on the trim. Hope you got a bit inspiration and if you need more...you just have to hop on over to the challengeblog to see all those incredibly gorgeous creations from my teamies. Don`t forget to enter our challenge while you are there though, lol.

Just don`t forget to use some kind of Marianne D produkt on your creation and please also mention in you post what product you have used. Bunny Zoe

The amazing Nikki is giving this lot....

She is sooooo creative that lady! So a big tribute to her talent. Please visit her blog right here, and you`ll find lots of inspiration. It is in norwegian but she has a translation button.

I`m sorry but i went a bit overboard with the images. I just wanted to show you all of it, lol
