New challenge at Crafty Purple Frog

Hi everyone

I`m a bit late with my creation for this challenge at Crafty Purple Frog. Yesterday i spent the whole day on the coach with a mahoosive headache. So you can imagine that my desire to craft was not on top, lol.

I made this card relatively early today but when i was going to edit my image i got myself a big surprise...and NOT a good one. For allmost 2 years i have used Photobucket as my editing program. It has been easy to use with not too many difficult features. I have been very satisfied with it for my type of needs. But when i was going to edit this image today i got totally blown away. Photobucket has totally renewed their site. It might have been great if it hadn`t totally removed the features i used to use earlier, so in protest i deleted all my images and closed my account.

I might have bothered to try it out, but when they do their upgrades they might wanna think about the user friendliness. It has become much harder to maneuver between the features. So in my book...thumbs down to Photobucket.

So now i`m trying out Picasa. As of now, i think it has potential but it is a lot to learn, and my first editing job in Picasa is not my best work, but i hope i`ll get there, lol.

Well...enough about my irritations. Let`s get down to buisness. For my card today i have used an image called Green Moth. It is a pre-coloured pyramage sheet. Papers are from BoBunny and Bearly Mine Designs. The dark purple one i don`t remember the producer. I have edited these images in Picasa. The one on top is my first one. Not too satisfied with it though.

This next one i think i got a better hang of it. The colours look more alike the original image, so i might go with this editing in the future. Please let me know what you think.
Please do hop over to the Crafty Purple Frog Challenge and join our anything goes challenge. Make sure to visit my teamies too. They have really made some gorgeous creations for your inspiration.

On to my card... Today we want you to use orange on your creations, over at Crafty Purple Frog. It doesn`t have to be much if you are not comfortable with this colour. Just as long as we see a little spec of orange it`s ok.

Sparkle at Crafty Purple Frog

Hey Peeps!

This has been a totally crappy week. I`ve been sick and the crafting has really not been up to it`s max. Tuesday when i was at work, my voice was totally gone. When i tried to say something there were just some hhhzzzz`ing noises coming out of my mouth. The customers of course thought it was very funny but i, with my blabbering mouth, didn`t think it was quite as fun. Imagine....Me...tha talking head....not being able to talk....Disaster!!!!,lol. THANK GOD! My voice is allmost back, lol. Only downside to that, is that i instead has gottn a really runny nose, lol. Well...enough blabbering, lets get down to buisness, shall we?

Over at Crafty Purple Frog we are having a new challenge and the theme set is SPARKLE! Don`t we all love sparkle, lol?

For my inspiration sample i have made another mini-card. It measures 4x4". The image i have used is called White Peacock Dryad and it is a pyramage sheet soon to be released in the Crafty Purple Frog online store. It is designed by the amazingly talented ChingChou-Kuik. These sheets come pre-coloured. You just have to cut and glue them. They are awesome for you that want`s to make a card in a hurry.

I have layered the image with 3D cushins to make it pop a bit. I also put on a big chunk of bling, lol. This is some of the left overs from my wedding. I just love the colour. I also added a rose trim from Marianne Design. I think these are so cute. To add a bit of more sparkle to my card i added some stickles icicles on the trim. Hope you got a bit inspiration and if you need more...you just have to hop on over to the challengeblog to see all those incredibly gorgeous creations from my teamies. Don`t forget to enter our challenge while you are there though, lol.

Birthday at Crafty Purple Frog

Good Morning everyone!

Another challenge is up and running over at the Crafty Purple Frog now. This time we want to see birthday creations. I just want to thank all of you entering our last challenge, it is truly inspiring to come and visit your blogs and see all the fabulous work you put behind your creations.

This time i have made a mini card. It measures 4x4". I am having too much scraps laying around so i figured i had to make some use of it. So why not make some smaller cards. The image i have used is called Exotic Ocean Fantasy and it is one of the gorgeous pyramage sheets from Crafty Purple Frog.

I have had this gorgeous blue lace forever and i thought it would fit perfect for this image. The colour is right and it is wavy so it kinda illustrates water.

Just to let you know...i did NOT colour this image myself. These are precoloured sheets from Crafty Purple Frog designed by Ching Chou Kuik.

DT card - The Crafty Purple Frog, Red Hot theme.

Good morning everyone!

Today we are ready with a new challenge over at the Crafty Purple Frog. We want you to dig out your hot and sassy stash and do your magic with it, lol. My teamies have made some gorgeous creations to inspire you with, so make sure to visit their blogs and give them some luv!

For today`s card i have made it a bit smaller than i usually do. I have made a 5"x5" card. I just have to use some of my scrap cardstock i have laying around and why not make a small sized card instead, lol. The image is called Red Hearts and is available right here.

For a very long time i have been wondering how these type of images are mounted, lol. I`m obviously not the brightest kid in the class, lol. Before i became a DT i got a top4 place in a challenge at The Crafty Purple Frog. And i won one of these type of sheets. It is a bit timeconsuming to cut these images by hand but wow what an affect they have on the finished card. I just loooove these and i really think you ought to try them too, lol. For those of you that are like me, wondering what this is, lol...This particular type of image is called pyramage and you just build the images on top of each other with glue pads.

The sentiment is from The Emerald Faeries Garden.

These are the challenges i`m entering:

Bearly Mine - Challenge #17 Bring on the bling
Crazy Amigo - Black/white/red challenge
Try it on tuesday - Anything goes challenge
