Autumn layout

Hello peeps!

I`m back with a layout i created a while back. I suddenly realized that i hadn`t blogget it. It was one of my projects for an application to the Blue Fern Studios Designteam. I didn`t make the team though but i had lots of fun creating this one.

Fall is my favourite time of the year. There are so many fantastic colours. Just love it. And on this layout i have really enjoyed creating with all these different colours. The photo is of my eldest dayghter at her first day at school. Now she`s 18 years old. I wonder where the time went?

I have used colours from Lindy`s stamp gang. As it is a while since i created this, i`m so sorry to say that i don`t remember which colours i used. I usually write down all the colours i use, but it seems i have lost the note for this LO.

The paper is from Blue Fern Studios as well as the chipboard pieces.

I have used stencils from Prima and i have used green metallic modelling paste with sandgrains. It has a fantastic shimmer that i didn`t manage to catch on camera. You just have to take my word for it, lol.

I particularly love how this little birdie turned out.

I`m so pleased with the colour combo. Just love the rustic feel of the details. 

Just look at these wonderful fall colours on the chippie piece. 

Well....once again i got a bit overboard on the piccies, lol. I REALLY have to get better on that department, hahaha. Hope you are still with me though.

Dress and santa hat: French navy, True blue, sky blue, Arctic blue, Pink pearl, Blossom, Pink mittens

Other colours used: Ice grey #1,2,3, Icicle, Sandstone

Anything goes and a DT call at Marianne`s Design Divas

Hi again!

This is my second post for today....whuuuut....you say! What has gottn into me, lol. Oh no, you don`t have to believe that i`m starting on something new, like getting ahead of myself, mo a ha ha ha... No actually this is truly a coincidence.

Today we are having a new challenge over at Marianne`s Design Divas. We are also celebrating one year of challenges! Where has the time gone? I think i must be having too much fun course this year has just flown by. I think it`s just recently i started on this amazing team.

Over to my second creation for the day. A while back i got this boring white painted star. It probabely is something used as a Christmas decoration but i have altered it to fit my own needs, lol. I love shabby chic and i have tried to embellish the star in a shabby style. Hopefully i made it work. I went a bit overboard with the pics, lol, so please bare with me.

This is a resin frame by Melissa Frances i believe. If i`m wrong please correct me, lol. I have cut out a little piece of a design paper to use as a picture in the frame.

Here i have used some of these small and cute silk flowers from Marianne D. They are available in several colours. I have used the blue and pink ones. Available here and here.

I have also used some flower ribbon with small roses which i cut in pieces. These are perfect for any cardmaker to use.  This Marianne D trim is also available at Cuddly Buddly. The butterfly is an embellishment left over from my wedding.

The blue flower is from Prima.

Here is another resin piece. I think it is so beautiful.

I have also used the Moroccan bird cage, available here, and butterflie #3 available here.

Over at Kenny K`s Krafty Girlz they are having a new DT call and this time i am entering. I was a bit bummed out that i missed it last time, course i have wanted to try out for this team for quite a while. I just loooove these images and they are so much fun colouring. And also you can find an image for any occasion.

I actually have created two cards for this DT call and i also want to show you a card i made i while back, so i really hope i get lucky, lol. All three cards are coloured with ProMarkers.

Layers at WhoopsiDaisy and a GDT call

Hey sweet peeps!

A new week and a new challenge are here. At WhoopsiDaisy we want to see you use your layers. How is that for an easy one, lol?

The image i have used is from sheet #180, available here. I think it is soooo adorable.

We are also having a GDT call at the moment. Linnie is seeking someone that want to join our team for a period of 6 months. All images are provided and you have LOTS of them to choose from. We have a nice and casual tone amongst our team and it is a great team to be a part of. Does this sound like something you want to join in on? And last but not least i want to bid a fond farewell to Bonnie who has been on our team as long as i have, and even longer. It is with a sad heart i see her go. She is so extremely talented and she has been such an inspiration to me. But Bonnie my girl...i wish you all the best, and i will sure be visiting you, mwah....

Hey peeps!

I`m so sorry for beeing totally late with this post. I do not even have a good excuse. Just my senile old mind that is having a vacation i believe, lol. Well, at last,  here it is. We are having a new challenge over at the Crafty Purple Frog. And it is your favourite, lol. Yess!!! It is: Anything goes! So you can make anything of your hearts desire, lol. We are also having a DT call, so if you want to play with a lot of totally gorgeous sheets of decoupage and pyramage designed by Ching-Chou Kuik, you`d better hurry up and enter the DT call over at the Crafty Purple Frog. 

For my card i have chosen to use the Autumn Goth pyramage sheet. Available here. I created a card in a romantic shabby style which i think fit perfectly to the image. And i also got to use my new Marianne D creatables die cut called Anja edge. It is available here. I think it is really beautiful and it just makes the whole card. I have also used papers from Bearly Mine Design.

Skrappekammeret and a DT call

Hey hey hey!

I wanted to enter my application as a DT at a nowegian challengeblog called Scrappekammeret. In that occacion i combined their sketch with my card for the blogpost i did over at the Crafts and Me Shopblog.

I made a new Halloween Card, probabely the last one for the season, lol. Halloween isn`t actually one of my fav seasons, lol. The image i have used is designed by Hannah Lynn and is available right here, in the Crafts and Me shop. This beauty of a witch is called Pricilla.

The colours i have used are these:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Hair:
Shale, Berry red, Lipstick red

Dress and hat:
Black, Warm grey #3,4 and 5, Holly, Emerald green, Lush green

Other colours:
Pastel yellow, Sandstone, Green

The flower i mady myself with a piece of black lace, a vintage button and a feather.

Phindy`s Place challenge and a DT-Call

Hey everyone!

It`s that time again. We are so sorry to see some of our team-mates leave for various reasons. We will really miss you guys. It has been a real pleasure to work with you all. With that said, we are having a DT-Call over at Phindy`s Place. If this is something that you would like to try out, please feel free to hop on over to see how you can enter the call. Phindy is such a fabulous boss to work for. She is really generous with the images. And they are absolutely and totally gorgeous. You don`t need to have any past DT experience either, so all can enter. Isn`t that nice? Well...so come on and join.


So over to the challenge. And what is the challenge? you ask, lol. Well we want to see two of somethings. And this means you can only use two things of one kind. You can`t put on for example 3 flowers and think that you have put on two. It has to be exactly two. But you can use different types of embellies. Such as 2 DPs, 2 pearls, 2 types of lace and so on.


For my card i have used 2 DPs, 2 doilies, 2 of each type of flowers, 2 swirls, 2 pearls, (they doesn`t show too well, got covered by the watermark, lol) 2 types of lace and i have even used 2 colours on her dress too, lol. That was actually a lucky strike, lol. I noticed it just about now, hahaha.
