Pile on the flowers at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey ma sweet peeps!

Here i am back with our new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. I know i`m late and i just have to apologize for it.

I work at a grocery store and the owners are having a mahoooosive renovation of the premises. They have added about 300 square metres to the store and also are going to give the old part at huge facelift. Half of the first floor is getting tared down and the ground floor is getting everything stripped down to make room for new stuff. This weekend all the employees and some other people packed down all the groceries to be shipped to another store in the same chain. So yesterday when i was supposed to make my card i didn`t manage to use my fingers as they were so swollen and numb. And Linnie, beeing a great boss as usual, had such sympathy for me and told me to relax. My fingers are still a bit stiff, but i`ll manage, lol.

So anyways...here is my card. Hope you bear with me as there is a lot of closeups, lol.

The image i have used you can find on sheet #343 in the WhoopsiDaisy shop
I got some new papers in the mail today from Marianne Design. I fell for them immediately and i just had to use one of them for my card. (the pink and creme one)

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair:

A while back i came across these totally adorable buttons. They look really gorgeous in the right light. They are really shimmery.

Pearl Princess by Hannah Lynn

Hey peeps!

For my card today i have used the gorgeous Pearl Princess by Hannah Lynn. She is available here.

This is one of the more simple cards i have created. I don`t know if you can see it, but the backing paper is just soooo sparkly that i didn`t want to cover it up so much. I think the colour fit so well with this mermaid image and the glittery paper is supposed to look like the sparkly ocean. Ok maby my imagination is going overboard here, lol.

I went for a soft colour scheme for this image. I know Hannah Lynn uses more bright colours, but i`m not too comfortable making the images so colourful. I tend to rather stick with the softer ones, lol. I`m sorry that i don`t put up the colours i have used. It just was so many colours and i forgot to write them down.

Challenges entered:

Inky Impressions - Anything goes
Just keep on creating - Anything goes
Little Darlings - Flowers
Simon says - Anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Use some sparkle
Moving along with the times - Garden or flowers

There is a new challenge going on over at Crafts and Me challenges. So just make sure to come and join us. The rubbah team has set the challenge and the theme is embossing. Also you just HAVE to see all the gorgeous creations the girlz have made for your inspiration.

One more thing as a little reminder...Teresa is still having a comp going on in the Crafts and Me shop Blog.
