Double digi.

Hey peeps!

Finally the summer is coming to us here i the middle of Norway. Yesterday was incredibly hot for this time of season. It was soooo nice. Maybe i`ll actually manage to get fairly rosted before the summer is over, lol.

Well...anyway...every other saturday it is my time to show you my creations over at the Crafts and Me store blog. And for my card this time i have used two of the digistamps you can find in the Crafts and Me store. The first one is the lovely "Noon" by Sara Burrier. You can find it right here. The other stamp is the new mushroom fantasy and you can find it here. For the first time i actually went with a digi-paper and i think it fit perfectly to the image. The paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and you can find it here.

I really had so much fun colouring up the mushroom image and i am a bit satisfied with it too. The "Noon" stamp i adhered on 3D coushins to make it pop out a bit.

I was totally in awe when i created my card yesterday. Some new digis by Sara Burrier is soon to arrive in the Crafts and Me store. And they are soooo gorgeous. I just sooooo wanted to use one of them on a card #2 but i had to work this weekend so i didn`t manage to finish my second card in time. So i only have this one to show you for this time

The flower i mady myself and i also added a little sparkle.

Well...I don`t seem to have enything more to ramble about, thanks for putting up with me, lol. Just a little reminder...you still have the chance to enter the rockin` rubbah team`s Vintage/distressed challenge at the Crafts and Me challengeblog, so make sure to pop on over and join in on the fun.

Hey everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful easter holiday. So sad that it is allmost over. It has been so wonderful to spend some time with my family and good friends without having to think about work. Well, there is still this one more day off from work so make the best of it everyone!

Over at WhoopsiDaisy we are going to bring some magic to you, lol. So we want to see some fairies on your creations this time. I actually made two cards this time. I wasn`t satisfied with my first one at all, so i decided at the last minute to make another one. I will still show you both of them though.

This second card that i made, i was more satisfied with. It looks more like a fairy sceene i was going for. The paper is from Websters Pages, and the embellies from my own stash. I have coloured her up with ProMarkers.

I am entering these challenges with the card on top:

I was trying out some new colour combos on my colouring but i couldn`t make them work, so the shades doesen`t come out as well on the photo.

It is such an honour to be asked. This week we are having a bloghop to celebrate our first birthday so here are some words from Phindy:

Welcome to the Phindy's Place Challenge Birthday Bloghop! It is one whole year since we began posting challenges on the blog, I can't believe a year has gone so fast!
Our challenge this week is paper piecing and the usual prizes are up for grabs,

leave some love for the DT! Blog Hop is open until midnight (GMT) 28 April.
So this week, you have THREE chances to win: the blog hop, the random winner of the challenge and the pick of the week. So what are you waiting for?

This is the first time ever i have made a card with paper-piecing, and i understand that i did go about it the totally wrong way, lol. But i finished my card after 4 hours and a lot of cursing, lol. So here it is:

If you've arrived from our lovely and talented Lynda, you're on the right track! If not, you need to start at the Phindy`s Place, Challenge blog. Click HERE to go to the start! Well i am the last one in line for this hop, so now you have to hop back to the challenge blog to post your sentence in the commenting section. Hope you have had a wonderful time with us and left the girlz some lovely comments too. I know they would looove to get some sugar. At least i would, lol. Good luck!

Pink and Sweet at Crafts and Me

Hey everyone!

It has been a couple of stressful weeks lately. I have been working a lot. First i helped out a girlfriend to shut down her dream in life...to own her own shop. But sometimes you just have to face the facts and quit while you`re still ahead. A bit sad course she had worked really hard to make her dream come true. I also got some extra hours at my regular workplace so i have had my hands full. I am a bit sorry to say that i have been a bit stressed out not getting to make my cards in due time. Everything has been just in the nick of time. Well anyway... Today is the first time ever i am hosting a challenge and i am a bit terrified, so i hope you bear with me.

First i want to say thanks to all of you who entered the Digi DT`s glitter challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenges, last week! There were incredibly many eyecandies to feast upon. You are soooo talented, ladies!

Now...for the challenge this week i have chosen Pink and Sweet. This must be an easy nut for you all to crack? So get your gameface on and start creating those gorgeous pink and sweet creations i know you are dying to show us.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Letraset. Letraset has through decades produced innovative media for commercial artists and designers.

My fellow Dynamite Digi team has once again blown the socks of me with their fabulous creations, so please go and visit their personal blogs and leave them some love. I know they will appreciate it.

For my card this time i have used the beautiful image created by Hannah Lynn called Mystical Pond. You can find it right here. And the litle swirl you can pick up here.

I am not totally satisfied with the colouring. I really have to buy myself a new printer. The one i got is totally crappy. It doesn`t keep the printing where it belongs, so when i colour the image it gets dirty by the lines. It is soooo irritating, course the colours get all wrong. I also used smooch in the same colour as the mermaid`s fin, so the body shimmerz a lot, but the camera sadly didn`t pick it up.

The butterfly you can get here, in the Korthobby online store. I dressed it with a little bling.

I recently baught some mini-pearl swirls from Prima`s say it in pearls collection. They fits perfectly on a card and i just had to use one for this challenge. The little butterfly charm you can find right here.

Well...i hope you enjoyed my little creation, so please come and join us in the Crafts an Me challenge blog. It is so much fun to play, not to mention the fabulous prize.

These are the challenges i am entering:
ABC Challenge - S is for sparkle
Amber`s Craft and stuff - Challenge #6 Ribbons and bows
I love ProMarkers - Challenge #62 Anything goes
Everybody art - Challenge #138 Pearls
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Challenge #24 Anything goes

That`s all from me folks!

Welcome to Free and Easy at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey, hey, hey!

It`s monday and it is a new challenge at WhoopsiDaisy. Many of you probabely has gottn easter-vacation...I`m not, lol. But i am happy there is some days off from work at least.

For my card this week i have made another vintage creation. Linnie has some new images that i had to try out. You can find them here. I love this new one in 20`s style. I coloured her up with my ProMarkers. As allways i used vanilla, blush and oatmeal for the skin and a little touch of pale pink for the cheeks. Ruby, crimson and burgundy for the dress and headpiece. I also used walnut for her hair. Do you notice that i am starting to get together the colours i use, lol. Not bad, hah?

I have tried to keep it in a monochromatic theme. I hope it works. I have used some stickles on the headpiece and the earring and around the edges. The metal corner i baught at a norwegian online store called Korthobby.

The flower i made myself and i dressed it with some stickles to make it pop a bit more. I actually love how it came out.

In the WhoopsiDaisy shop you can also pick up a new little cutie for free. So run along and get it.

And last but not least... Linnie is having a GDT call that lasts for 6 months and if anybody out there love cute and want to come join our happy gang of ladies, please feel free to visit the Whoopsi Daisy challenge blog for more info.

Now...that`s all from me for this time. Hope you like my card. I`ll be back later today with the challenges i am entering.

We are going vintage at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey sweet crafters!

Thanks to all of you who entered last weeks springtime challenge. We had a lot of fabulous entries. It is so fun to hop around to your blogs and get so much inspiration. We in the DT are supposed to inspire you for your creations, but i really must say that you all inspire us just as much.

For this weeks creation i have used sheet #24, which you can find here. I looooove this image. She looks so divine with that amazing and flowing dress.

I have coloured her with my ProMarkers. For the dress i have used: Satin, Putty and Tan, and for the bows, Crimson in the dots and Dusky rose and Sunkissed pink for the rest. Her skin is coloured with: Vanilla, Blush and Oatmeal, with Pale Pink for the cheeks. For the flowers i used: Sunflower, Crimson, Leaf Green and Pine. And for the hair i used: Satin, Spice, Walnut and Terracotta.

Make sure you join us for the vintage challenge at WhoopsiDaisy. It is really not as difficult as it looks. Some good pointers for those of you that are a bit unfamiliar with vintage: Use earth colours and if you want some more colour with it you can use pastel colours. For an old look just distress your edges and ink them up with brown ink. For those of you that don`t own a distressing tool it works really nice with scissors. For embellishment, lace gives the perfeck look. otherwise you can embellish it as you like. To get some more pointers you can visit my good friend Johanna right here. She is a master at making vintage creations. Her blog is in swedish but she has a translation button on her left side.

These are the challenges i am entering:

Creative inspirations Paint - Inspired by Chocolate
Nordsalten Hobbyklubb - Utfordring #27 Blonder
Scrapperiket - Utfordring #24 Metall
Anything goes Challenge - Challenge #38 Pearls

Thanks for looking

Glitter Challenge at Crafts and Me

Hey Everyone!

I am so happy to see that the snow is melting more and more now. There is not a lot of snow left, yey! I am sooooo looking forward to the summer. Yesterday i was a bit under the weather so i really struggled with finishing my card for the glitter challenge at Crafts and Me. But finally i managed to finish it. I am not too happy with the card itself but i am happy about the result on colouring the image.

Our sponsor for the next challenge is the generous Ali from Crafty Ribbons. So make sure to hop on over to Crafts and Me Challenges to get the possibility to enter thes awesome ribbon prize. Such a perfect prize to create something for the Royal Wedding.

I am sorry to say that the glitter doesn`show too well, but it is there. I will try to get some new piccies when i can use the daylight.

Springtime Colours at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi peeps!

Another challenge overwith. And now we are ready for a new one. We want to see springtime colours this time at WhoopsiDaisy. My team-mates has really done a fabulous job on their inspirational creations. Please hop on over to WhoopsiDaisy and join us for this challenge.

For my creation i have used a cute little digi from sheet #131. You can find it here. Be sure to hop on over to the shop and make sure to get some delightful digis from the talented Linnie`s range. She also has a sweet freebie for you!

The silver plate is from Kort and Godt in Norway. They have a lot of awesome embellishments. And they are not too expensive either.

I have coloured Daisy with my fabulous ProMarkers. I looove them. They makes colouring so easy. I am also starting to get the hang of making a sky background. For this i cut out a template looking like a sky and then i used Broken China distress ink to very lightly tap around the upper edges of the template. Start at the bottom and work your way up to the top of the image. There is lighter distress inks to get a hold of but i only have this one in blue. So if you use broken china, make sure you don`t use too much colour or pressure course it will make your sky too dark.

I just had to put on one of my new Prima flowers. I think they are soooo beautiful. The soft colour and all the glittery stuff on top...love it. The small rosebuds are also from Kort and Godt.

Hope you enjoyed my creation. Thanks for looking!

Hugs...Mona

Challenes i am entering:

The Crazy Challenge - Challenge #61 Just add flowers
Craft your Passion - Challenge #52 Anything goes
Allsorts - Week 97 Blooming blossoms
Digis with attitude - Challenge #20 Anything goes

Valentines night

Hey sweet crafters!

If you are here for the Crafts and Me bloghop, please click here. If not, keep on reading, lol.

I am so relieved that i have finished my first post in the Crafts and Me store blog. It was a bit scary but i have gottn soooo many positive responses that it has been overwhelming. Thank you soooo much to everyone that left me a bit of love for my card!

For my creation today i have used one of the new digis in the Crafts and Me store. It`s called Valentines night and is designed by the ever so talented Sara Burrier. If you follow the link you can find it right here.

For this card i have used Websters Pages DP. I think it is so beutiful that i didn`t want to cover it completely. Besides it fit perfectly as a background for the image of the two in love. I am not sure but i think the DP is from the lullaby lane collection. If i am wrong, please correct me, lol.

The butterfly i got from a kit-club i am a member of. I think it is totally beautiful and goes well with the background paper.

As you may know we are having a bloghop going on. Lots of yummy prizes, so make sure you jump on over to the Crafts and Me challenge blog where the hop starts and join in on the fun. The girls have made some very special and wonderful creations for you all to gaze upon. You have until Midnight (GMT) 15th April to join in. See you there.

Thanks for looking!
