Crafts and Me challenge #63

Hey sweet peeps!

The Dynamite Digi Team is ready with a new challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges. The theme set this time is: Pearls and Swirls.

The image i have used for my card is called Casting down imaginations and is going to be released on dec 1st. in the Crafts and Me store. There are a few more images going to be released and they are gorgeous every one of them...as usual. You are really in for a treat, so stay tuned.

Colours i have used:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, (Sunkissed pink for cheeks)

Hair:
Cocoa, Pastel yellow, Buttercup

Dress:
Holly, Lush green, Mint green, Soft green, Black, Gold Metallic.

Other colours:
Crimson red, Tea green

This wooden flourish is an old one from Kaiserkraft. I have inked it and painted it with crackle paint (Picket Fence) The crackle paint actually blended with the ink, so it looks kinda skin coloured. The green and red i just coloured with my ProMarkers. In the end i put on a layer of stickles Icicle, available here.

Our fabulous sponsor this week is our generous boss Teresa. She is giving away 3 digis of the winner`s choice. Isn`t that great? Do you know that if you use a C & Me image you are in an additional monthly draw for 4 free digis? So pop out your Crafts and Me images and start creating. You do NOT have to use an image from our range to win the weekly challenge though.

Please hop over to the Crafts and Me challengeblog and look at the incredible creations my team-mates has put together for your inspiration. I just have to say...WoooooW!!! Hope you`ll consider entering our challenge too.

A litle note to finish off with. Our sweet Tracy is selling finished pre-scored envelope boxes for your cards. It is just for you to assemble them. Click on her name and get to her blog if this sounds like something for you. She also has a candy. So hop on over.

Winner of WhoopsiDaisy Blog-hop candy and a new challenge!

Hey sweet friends!

Thanks to all of you that entered our blog-hop over at WhoopsiDaisy. You all helped us to make it a great success. Our generous boss, Linnie, are giving one lucky winner on each DT blog, a sheet of digis. The winner in my blog are getting the sheet you see below. As i said in my blog-hop post i had decided to add to Linnie`s offer by giving away a little surprize candy. I have a little Mini-Magnolia just waiting to get a new owner. I have also finished mounting her on kling-on. I have never had the chance to use her, so she is like brand new.

So now on to the drawing. I have used random org and the lucky winner of the WD digi-sheet and my little Magnolia are:

Behind this number is Annika! Congrats hunni! Please contact me at megamuffins@live.no to claim your prize.

There is going to be some changes around the WhoopsiDaisy challenge blog from new year. We are going to be a challenge which you are only allowed to use our own range of images. If you don`t have a WD image, Linnie is providing you with a freebie each month to play with. So why don`t hop over to the shop and pick up your freebie and start collecting allready. That way you are set to join our challenges.

So...now on to my card for this week. The image i have used is from sheet #320. And it is available in the WhoopsiDaisy digi shop

I took some pics of the card last night but i thought they were total crap. To make a decent photo of an all white card with a flashlight is totally hopeless. All the white just reflects the flash. So i decided to wait till today when i could make use of the daylight to make a better photo.

Some more closeups

Challenges i`m entering:

Dream Valley - Challenge #21 Sparkle
Pile it on - Challenge #48 Sugar and Spice
Drunken Sailors - Challenge #79 Monochromatic
Totally Gorjuss - Challenge #108 Sparkle

Now off you go to the challenge blog and join in our white on white challenge. I really look forward to come visit you and to see what you come up with.

Autumn by Sara Burrier

Hi sweet peeps!

I was going to show you one of the new releases that are due on dec 1st but my printer is out of ink, so i had to use one of the ones i allready had printed out. I have used one of the previous releases by Sara Burrier called Autumn. Available here. But since we are in the middle of the Christmas preparations i have made a Christmas-card. So i coloured this gorgeous image in Christmas-colours instead.

The chipboard snowflake is a Dusty Attic chippie which i`ve painted with gesso and blinged up a bit with Stickles Icicles, available here.

Well that`s all from me this time. Later i`m off to celebrate my best friend`s 40th birthday, and i expect high partyfactor, lol. Hope you`ll have a great weekend. Don`t forget to come and play with us at the challenge blog. There is still time.

ANYTHING GOES FOR CHRISTMAS, BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Christmas Blog Hop at Whoopsi Daisy!

To celebrate Christmas we're having a blog-hop and hope you will join in on the fun! There's candy to be won on each and every blog. Linnie has been so generous to give us a sheet of digi images to offer you as a candy. I have decided to add a bit to that candy from my personal stash. What it is, will be a surprise, lol. Just leave  a comment and do the linky dance with mr linky at the bottom, and i`ll draw a winner for my candy when the hop is finished. We've also all got a letter which is a tricky (NOT!) seasonal phrase. .

If you came here from the super fun and oh so adorable Nataliya then you are on the right track. If not, hop over to Linnie where the fun starts.

The Divas playing are;

Linnie Ms WhoopsiDaisy herself.

Nataliya

Mona E (Me)

Karen C

Audrey

Sande

Beth

Daisychain

Sheri

Joanie

Lill S

Net

Suze

Be sure to hit all of our blogs, Collect the letters, and email your answers to us at Whoopsi Daisy for another chance to win! The email adress is: linniepink@googlemail  Also, do not forget to enter the weekly challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy, which is Anything Christmas-y Goes! My letter for you is V.

Here is finally my card for the hop. I`m so sorry i didn`t manage to finish it in time for the bloghop to start. I was up north visiting my parents and didn`t arrive home late last night untill 0200 after driving for 13 hours straight. But here it is.

Here is my card for you. The image i have used is one of 4 cuties on sheet #151. This is the sheet the winner of my candy will receive.

It was a bit funny with this image. My printer off course had to run empty off printer fluid so the print didn`t get so black in the edges as it use to. But that gave me a perfect opportunity to try the no lines technique. Of course the lines are not completely away, lol. But i kinda like the result. Hope you like it too.

So off you go to our one and only and amazing Karen C, to pick up her letter and to drewl upon the gorgeous creation she has in store for you.

As you can see from the list above, there will be a total of 13 prizes given away, not to mention what Whoopsi Daisy will be giving to a random drawn person, with the correct answer to the letters from each blog. You will have one week to enter! Thanks, from the whole team, for joining us and for helping to make this Whoopsi Daisy Christmas Blog Hop a success!

Winter Colours at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey Peeps!

Sorry for beeing a bit late posting this. Time really seem to run away from me lately. But here it is anyway.

At WhoopsiDaisy we are having a new challenge. We want to see winter colours. This can be the colours of winter or something  you associate with winter.

For my card today i have tried a new folding technique. Over at StampARTic, Marianne has posted the tutorial for this gorgeous Napkin folded card. It is written in english too so you don`t need translation for it either.

The DP is all from the Song Bird collection from Pion Design. And this sweet image is available in the WhoopsiDaisy digi shop. This is one of four sweet images on sheet #152. Both types of edge punches are from Martha Stewart.

These are the colours i have used:

Skin:
Vanilla. Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Hair:
Cocoa, Pastel Yellow, Buttercup

Clothes:
Arctic blue, French Navy, Ice grey #1

Other colours:
Sunkissed pink, Berry red, Holly, Lush green, Black, Cool grey #4 and 5

I would really like to see some more folding techniques out there, so if you have a fun technique to show me, please give me a nudge and i will come visit your blog. Maybe i will post a link to the tutorial in my blog too, lol. I do give credit to the designer also.

Backside:

Well...now it`s your time to create something winterly, lol. Really looking forward to see what you come up with. So hop on over to the WhoopsiDaisy Challenge an join us.
