Monochromatic at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi everyone!

Today i want to show you a creation i made using one of the newest Halloween digis by Linnie at WhoopsiDaisy. You can find it on sheet #494. It took forever to colour. I believe i spent a little over 5 hours to colour it, lol. The only thing i`m not satisfied with is that my camera made the white stripes to appear stronger than in real life. And i think they are a bit overwhelming. Oh well...when i can`t make use of a decent daylight it sometimes end up like this i`m sorry to say.

The papers i have used are digipapers from Bearly Mine Designs. The spiderweb is fuzzycut from one of the digipapers.

Colours used:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair: Black

Dress/hat: Black, Shale, Burgundy, Berry red, White Sakura gelly roll pen.

Other colours: Cool grey #5 and 4, Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Sandstone, Pineapple crush, Buttercup

I didn`t have any black flowers so i used my ProMarker to colour most of it. I also had to use my Black soot distress reinker course i didn`t manage to colour all in the center of it. I just put some drops of ink in the middle and elsewhere where i couldn`t use my marker.

I also had this metal rose with the gorgeous red eye in the middle i just had to put it on the card.

ProMarker Norge Utfordring #22

Heisann!

Da er sommeren definitivt over. Vi skriver september og nå bør vi være godt restituert og klar for å lage ny inspirasjon. Jeg føler i alle fall at kreativiteten min har fått seg et ekstra løft. Jeg har vært inne i en tung periode hvor hodet ikke har vært skrudd rett på, men nå har det heldigvis løsnet litt for meg. 

Som vanlig må dere hoppe innom ProMarker Norge for å finne ut hva utfordringen denne gang er. Jeg håper du tar deg tid til å være med på moroa.

Denne gang har jeg laget et helt enkelt kort uten for mye stæsj på. Motivet er fra Tiddly Inks og heter Fairy Sunny Day. Det er tilgjengelig her. Papirene er fra Bearly Mine Designs. Som vanlig er motivet fargelagt med ProMarkers og FlexMarkers.

Hår: Reef blue, Surf blue (FM) Duck egg, Cool aqua

Kjole: Tequila sunrise, Peach, Soft peach, Pineapple crunch, Daffodil bloom, Eggnog

More than one image at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey peeps!

Here we are again with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme set this time is

USE MORE THAN ONE IMAGE

For my card today i have used these two cuties, both from sheet #389.

I merged both images together using word, and they look like cute twins together.

They are as usual coloured with my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. I had a bit of an experiment with the colours of their hair and i would really much like to know what you think. I really appreciate some constructive critisism.

The colours i have used are:

Girl on the left:

Hair: Maroon, Boysenberry (FM), Wild orchid (FM), Fuchsia pink

It`s monday morning and we are ready with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme this time is:

For my card today i have used an image from sheet #418. The punched butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.

Colours used are:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair: Cocoa, Mustard, Buttercup

Top: Pumkin, Gold, Sunflower, Canary

Trousers: Rose pink, Baby pink, Pink mittens

Shoes: Cocoa, Caramel, Tan

Background: Grey Squirrel, Warm grey#1, Almond, Satin, Muted pink

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the ribbon and lace. All papers are from Bearly Mine Designs. And dies are from Spellbinders and Memorybox.

Below you can check out my new gorgeous chipboard corners which i have ordered from Make It Crafty. I was so surprised when i recieved it. I had anticipated it would take at least 14 days to get it, but the mail service has really done a fast and great job. It only took 8 days from Australia to Norway. 

I painted it with gesso and put on some stickles chrystal. Isn`t it beautiful? Well, i love it anyway, lol.

GDT spot at Forever Friends

Good morning everyone!

A while back our lovely teamleader over at WhoopsiDaisy, Pauline, asked if some of us wanted to join in as a guest designer for a challenge over at Forever Friends as WD is sponsoring this challenge. And i was one of the lucky ones that got the opportunity this time.

My favourite embellies are my fabby dies, lace and pearls.

The dies i have used are the big butterfly die and the sentiment die from Marianne Design. I have also used a Tim Holtz butterfly die. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the pearls. Papers are from Bearly Mine Designs.

Traditional Christmas cards at WhoopsiDaisy

Hi everyone!

Today we are giving you a new challenge at WhoopsiDaisy. We want to see cards with traditional Christmas colours. 

For my card i have created an easel card using the Anja`s large ovals from Marianne Design. I had some real fun using an other shape than the ordinary oval or square.The only downside i thought it was a bit difficult to embellish but i finally made it.

I used pom pom ribbon to create snow from the roof. The Church is also a Marianne D die cut. I have used an image from sheet # 284. The image is coloured with ProMarkers.

It`s allmost that time of the year again...Stress, presents, food and enjoying family life. You know what i`m talking about! Christmas!!! It`s such a wonderful time of the year. The only thing i miss, is my family up north. 

I`m beginning to stress out a bit. With all that has been going on this past months i haven`t had a chance to find time to do my usual Christmas-shopping. NOT A SINGLE GIFT is in da house yet...buhu. Well, hopefully i will find some time real soon, lol.

Halloween at WhoopsiDaisy

This time i have actually used a pre-coloured digi from the WhoopsiDaisy shop. 

I`ve used sheet #386

Usually i don`t use pre-coloured digis as i like to colour them myself. But they are great to use if you need a quick fix. I believed i was stressed for time on the deadline for this one, lol, but i think i must have read the times backwards, lol. So i actually didn`t have as short time as i believed, lol. Well my card was finished early and i think Pauline was pretty happy about that, lol.

Finally i`m back in the crafting saddle again. After a month and a half long partial break. I promised to tell you what i`ve been up to, lol. Well...i have been training to become a busdriver. I`m not finished though, but if everything goes according to plan i will have my busdrivers licence by the middle of november. I am so excited, lol.

Well...onto my card this week. Over at Crafts and Me the dynamite digi girls are having a new challenge and it is our lovely Rose that has set the theme. She want you to use somekind of a sentiment on your creation.

The image i have used is called Easter lily and it is designed by Hannah Lynn. It is available right here.  I think she is a total beauty.

I have to apologize for the bad pictures. I didn`t manage to make use of the daylight yesterday and had to use the flash on my camera. The colours gets completely off and since the card is so light the colours just flashes back at me when i take the pic.
