Sparkle and shine at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey Peeps!

I really got stuck when i was going to make a card for todays challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. I really don`t know what i was thinking when i chose images for the challenge, lol. I was caught up in the love for the new sheet Linnie posted in her shop and i forgot what the challenge was all about, lol. I just had to have this sheet!!!! So now i had to make a sparkle and shine card, lol. Not easy to do with images that are supposed to be used as accents, hahaha. So i just had to look through my collection of Linnie Images and i found this sweet little fairy girl on sheet #180. And i thought she might be perfect to add to my creation

I actually started with an ordinary 6x6" card but it didn`t work at all, so i had to try a stepcard instead. I moved the embellies back and forth several times and decided it looked really weired. I had to draw up the grass in front by hand and coloured it and then cut it out. I also had some other images i cut up and used some bits and parts here and there to make a scene. I still think it looks a bit weired but i don`t have any more time to do it all over again so this just have to do. Luckely you don`t see all the mistakes that i see, hahahaha.

This little fairy girl is just the most adorable ever. And i coloured her up with these colours:
Hair:
Primrose, Buttercup, Pastel yellow

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan

Dress:
Lipstick red, Gold, Sunflower, Yellow. Satin, Putty, Tan, Cinnamon.

Wings:
Forrest green, Bright green, Lime green, Lime Zest

Shoes:
Walnut, Terracotta, Pumpkin

For all the grass and trees i mixed with these colours:
Pine, forrest green, Bright green, Lime green, Lime zest.

For the beautiful fence i used:
Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb.

The butterfly i created myself. I just love these butterflies. They are so easy to make. A couple of minutes and then they are finished.

Behind the flowers you can see one of my new dies. It is a Marianne die. And i think it looks really beautiful. I am just loving my new Big Shot, lol. My hubby is going to have a fit when he hears how much i have to spend on dies, lol.

Here is a closeup of my homemade grass, lol. I also put in some tiny flowers. I think i like it, lol. Hope you like my creation. Thanks for looking.
